Tammy de Soto CicchettiPresident and Senior Trial Attorney

Tammy de Soto Cicchetti is President of The Cicchetti Law Firm, having founded the firm in 1997 after years of defending insurance claims and companies as a partner with a Tallahassee law firm. She has spent 30 years handling insurance-related lawsuits and is uniquely qualified to bring your insurance claims and to assist other attorneys on difficult insurance matters, such as cases involving bad faith and coverage, recovery of attorney’s fees and issues regarding whether certain acts constitute legal malpractice.

Mrs. Cicchetti practices in all Florida state courts and has been admitted to practice in the United States Federal District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts Courts of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been admitted pro hoc vice in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. She handles matters at the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to launching The Cicchetti Law Firm, she was the managing partner of the Tallahassee law firm Callahan & Cicchetti, P.A., where she represented a diverse group of clients, specializing in insurance defense work and handling serious personal injury and wrongful death claims for individuals and families, as well as medical and legal malpractice and nursing home negligence matters.

Mrs. Cicchetti is married and has two children. When she is not attending one of her children’s sports events, she is cooking for friends, watching college football, traveling or spending time at the local shooting range.
